Smaller media companies offered tier-one streaming platform that scales with them

Streaming tech provider Deltatre says media companies in the early stages of their OTT journey can now have access to software previously available only to the largest and most well-funded industry players, following the launch of its Core, Professional and Enterprise packages for the D3 VOLT OTT platform. This all-in-one streaming solution features end-user apps, video pipeline, back-office interfaces and monetization features, and comes with a comprehensive set of partner integrations.

D3 VOLT was launched over a year ago and the Professional and Enterprise packages have been adopted by leading broadcasters, rights holders, and global sporting organizations, the company reports. The expanded offer will help smaller providers take advantage of a solution that spans acquisition, packaging, encoding, security, distribution, content management and playback.

The modular D3 VOLT platform integrates several Deltatre products, including AXIS UX, which is used to configure streaming services, the DIVA video player that supports rich interactivity, and FORGE, the scalable CMS. For smaller streamers, the feature set can scale with them to meet the demands of a growing user base without the need to move platforms later.

Andrea Marini, CEO of Deltatre, comments: “D3 VOLT represents a significant leap forward for the industry, drawing on years of experience collaborating with some of the world’s most renowned brands. Our platform enables even smaller streamers to harness the cutting-edge technologies we’ve developed, eliminating the need to switch products as their needs become more sophisticated.

“D3 VOLT is designed to scale with their business,” he confirms. “By introducing software-driven efficiencies, we make it easier and more cost-effective for customers to manage their streaming and digital services.”
